The Mediated Effects of Burnout on the Relationships between Career Self-Efficacy and Turnover Intention of Music Therapists

|
The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence on music therapist¡¯s job self-efficacy and mediating effect of psychological burnout. Upon review, one hundred seventeen music therapists participated in this study. The measurements that were used for this study were the questionnaires that are composed of the participant¡¯s demographic characters, job self-efficacy, turnover intention, and burnout. Additionally, the data was analyzed by t-test and one-way ANOVA, and the Scheffe¡¯s post hoc test was used to determine if there was a noted statistical difference. The results were as follows: There were statistical differences noted between age, education, and career. Finally, the findings of this study provides the reasons of the music therapist¡¯s turnover, intention and important information on the effect of the music therapist¡¯s job security.
